Oh my, give me pause here to take another sip. I love this wine. Full-bodied, juicy, generous, supple: it’s got it all. Dark fruit, espresso, and smoky. Bring me more please!

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Smooth. And Spectacular. Those are the words that come to mind when I had the pleasure of sharing a bottle of this wine with a good friend of mine. We decided to treat ourselves to a fine bottle of wine one Friday evening, and we didn't go wrong. If all wine from Tuscanny tastes this good, I know where I'm going for my next vacation. Toasted oak, cherries, plums and spices all coming together to form a perfect union in a glass. Treat yourself some time to this wine.
Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

The 2007 Antinori Guado Al Tasso is medium bodied with intense aromas of integrated black currant, blueberry, coffee, green pepper, oak and vanilla. Tannins are refined to tannic (decant for about an hour) and the finish is long and smooth. This wine should be put away for the next 4-5 years and should last till 2020 to 2015. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 92.5 pts - excellent wine, but is $90 really worth it? Tasted Feb/11.
