Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pinot Gris is grown around the world but in Alsace it generally takes on a fuller body and spicy characteristics. This Alsatian Pinot Gris lives up to it's region. This medium body wine has aromas and flavours of Asian pear, ripe apple, apricot, peach, vanilla, and tinge floral. The acidity is medium(-) and the length is long on an elegant warming finish.
Pair with pulled pork, roasted chicken.
Drink now but has potential to age. 5 years+
Tasted: December 2014
Cave Vinicole Kientzheim-Kaysersberg creates this Pinot Gris using "lieu-dit" which means grapes grown in a specific parcel of the vineyard that express that unique terroir. The Pinot Gris grapes for this French white wine grow on old vines, intensifying their flavour and depth. Good acidity counterbalances the delicate sweetness in this wine. - Community Wine Reviews
