A delightful riesling, bursting with lime blossom and lemongrass notes. Zippy and refreshing with a medium body. Perfect for seafood or as an aperitif. Great price.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

In a word: Delicious. 2010 was a good year in Niagara. It shows in this wine. Characteristic Riesling notes in this wine of citrus, petrol and rubber layered with gooseberry, white blossoms, perfume. Light and refreshing acidity. Balanced nicely. Pair with Asian Fusion dishes, seafood or pasta with cream sauces. Bring back summer because this is a great patio sipper!
Chris Coughlin - WSET level 3 grad rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lots of acidity, aromas and flavour notes of: sour apple, citrus, lemon zest, plus marzipan. Nice example of Ontario Riesling.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Nose of lime more than lemon; mineral, white flowers, pear.

On the palate, this is classic Ontario Riesling, and a good example. Crisp citrus and gooseberry predominate, with white stone fruit playing a supporting role. The mid-palate is a bit short, so the medium finish is more citrus and mineral two-tone, less other fruit complexity.

Great value.

Tasted July 2015.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Big Riesling petrol nose, with pear, gooseberry. and a little melon and light minerality. Flavours of lychee, pear, and crisp acidity. Quite a complex wine for a Riesling at this price. Try this with pork loin in a peanut satay.
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Nice and clean nose of petroleum. Nice acidity. Good price. For those like me who love canadian riesling, this is a very good product.
