Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Good aromatic concentration with a combination of yeast, green apple, and lemon. Extra dry with lively acidity. Lemon and green apple skin flavours with integrated autolytic character. A very nice traditional method sparkling wine. Serve alongside linguini with clams and fennel.
From the Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment Wine Region, Angels Gate Archangel 2013 is a traditional method, dry and crisp Chardonnay bubble. Toasty and refreshing with a creamy mousse of baked apple pie, lemon custard and vanilla flavours on the palate finishing long with clean mineral notes. - Community Wine Reviews
