Reviews and Ratings

Simon Chen rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a great cabernet representing the Knight Valley AVA from california. It has rock and wet soil tastes mixed with california cream de casis fruit. Medium-full body structure but finish is kind of short. Again, maybe it needs more time to open up. 91+ points
In Knights Valley, Helena Montana Vineyard spans northeast to southwest along Highway #128 which connects California's Mendocino Coast to the Central Valley through wine country. Rolling hills and steep benches make up this area and vineyard with grape vines planted away from the westerly winds that constantly blow across California. It is here the grapes for Anakota Helena Mountain Vineyard (2013) Cabernet Sauvignon grow. The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and is aged 15 months in new oak barrels. This wine is long-lived and could easily cellar 15 years or more. - Community Wine Reviews
