Reviews and Ratings

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Showing only just ruby red on this southern hemisphere 2010. Beautiful aroma with prominent sweet fruit on the nose, as well as a floral component and hints of some cedar or oak. Unfortunately not much complexity as I can only really get that concentrated fruit each time I go back in. Much drier and more mellowed on the palate, though medium amounts of bitterness, and medium to full tannins. Medium length finish of red fruit, and that drying tannin sensation.
All in all a solid 88, maybe 89.
Travis Oke rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

I'm not sure that I'm qualified to rate a Malbec since I haven't had many. This one seemed very tight - I do know that the word Premium on the label means next to nothing as far as quality of the wine in the bottle - unlike the strict regulations in other countries.
It was fruity enough and certainly tannic but not exciting.
The grapes from this wine come from two vineyards: Clos dos Los Siete and Serenade. Then about half the wine is matured in French barrels. It's a medium-bodied, smooth wine with dark fruit. Source: Winery
