Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A Pinot Grigio with lots of personality from Trentino -Alto Adige, Northern Italy. Bouquet and flavors of freshly grated citrus, apricot, dried apples, grapefruit, nectarine and almonds. It is crisp, refreshing and reveals a slight minerality on the finish. Perfect accompaniment to a chicken & caper tagliatelle or shrimp in a tomato basil sauce.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Crisp, refreshing, mouthwatering acidity. Nectarine, Asian pear, raw almond. Medium finish with persistence of lime zest. Paired well with a skillet seared filet of wild salmon on a bed of steamed seasonal vegetables and jasmine rice. Tasted 2016 vintage in Jan 2018. 90 points
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Not your typical citrus water Grigio. It's mineral-rich with mouthwatering zesty citrus and salty brine notes. This is a light-bodied Pinot Grigio showcases high juicy acidity and a crisp clean finish. Enjoy with crispy fried smelts. Tasted January 2018 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
From the Alto Adige wine region, Alois Lageder (2016) is crisp, clean, dry and medium-weight Pinot Grigio with white grapefruit and lime zesty flavours. Great structure and great acidity to pair with grilled seafood. - Community Wine Reviews
