Natalie's Score: 91/100

A crisp, vibrant Austrian white wine made from the country's classic Gruner Veltliner grape. Only 1,000 cases were produced of this wine. Lots of mouth-watering acidity and lime flavours. It'll keep well in the cellar for at least another 5-7 years. Pair with fresh seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A wonderful, golden, complex, mouthwatering Gruner Reserve. Smokey Flint, fresh red apple, white pepper, yellow plum. Long finish with persistence of flinty minerality, lemon zest. I enjoyed first with double smoked aged white cheddar and deep fried corn tortillas then dove deeper with an exceptional pairing main course of fish tacos with traditional Belizian fixings of guacamole, pico de gallo. Tasted Dec 2016 rated 92/100. A fantastic Gruner.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Another light and fresh Gruner with soft floral nose but more toasted nuts, a little smoke and marzipan on the palate, very delicious.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Toasted nuts, pear, with a hint of smokiness on the back-end. Lovely with a combination of appetizers at your next holiday gathering.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of white flowers, almonds, and green apple. Medium acidity, with tastes of apple and apricot.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Straw in colour with aromas of toasted nuts, green apple and smoke. Light bodied with mouthwatering acidity with tart green apple flavours leading into a short finish. This will pair well with creamy or soft cheeses and seafood.
