A vibrant and exotic Oregon Pinot Noir, with notes of tart cherries and black plums, and terrific mouth-watering acidity for a wide range of dishes from planked salmon to roast turkey. A long finish with rose petal, spice and berry fruits. Winemaker Dave Paige has done a superb job here.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled salmon, duck breast, stuffed veal tenderloin, goat cheese, grilled vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

From one of Oregon's Pinot Noir pioneers the Adelsheim family has crafted this New World classic with ripe dark cherry, raspberry, beet root, and cinnamon. Soft tannins and refreshing acidity with long length on the elegant finish. This wine is a crowd pleaser!
Pair with veal chops, duck, or the traditional turkey feast.
Drink now or keep until 2018. Serve slightly chilled.
Date tasted: August 2015.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Classic Oregon Pinot Noir with tart cranberry and cherry flavors along with hints of earth, spice and dark chocolate. Pair with roast pork or cedar planked salmon.
Ginny Adelsheim created the image Diana Lett on the wine bottle label. This Pinot Noir sources fruit from several vineyards in the Willamette Valley in order to capitalize on the strengths of the varying pockets for fruit ripeness, freshness and balance. - Community Wine Reviews
