Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Gamey and smoky but still berrilicous on the nose. This hefty full-bodied wine shows flavours of jammy berry, plum, sweet smoke, bacon and mint. The palate is ripe and robust with moderate acidity, a touch of heat (spice from the alcohol) and long minty finish. Pair with smoked meat sandwiches. Tasted Nov 2016 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Baconpalooza! Wow. This wine created fantastic maple drenched bacon aromatics in the glass and on the palate. Ripe red field berry and a hint of tart blackberry, with maple basted bacon on the palate. An amazing accompaniment to BBQ ribs, bacon topped gourmet burgers, spaghetti bolognese or on its own. Drinking well now. Tasted Nov 2016 - bespoketastings.ca
