Great value under $20 on this full-bodied, smoky and meaty Barossa Valley Shiraz. Look for fleshy, smoky plum, dark berry compote and underbrush flavours on the palate on this, dark, lush and mouth-coating red wine. Pair with all things grilled from the BBQ.

Shiraz food pairings: hamburgers, espresso and cocoa-rubbed flank steak, black bean soup, cheese.

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A good-value Shiraz that is full-bodied and extra-dry. So food-friendly! Dried blueberry aromas and firm tannins on the palate. Decant and pair with anything BBQ'd, especially ribs in a thick, sweet/spicy marinade. Check out the clever wine label- front and back!
Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Always reliable and an excellent value Shiraz. Deeply coloured with fleshy ripe plum, Asian spice with hints of star anise, notes of tobacco and cocoa spice. Would love this for any BBQ or a hearty beef stew on a cold winter's night.
3 Rings 2016 is a big, juicy and robust Shiraz from the Barossa Valley. Deep ruby in the glass, with full-on dark raspberry and blackberry aromas, finishing spicy and woodsy. Dry and rich with crushed raspberry, blackberry, black pepper spice anise and cedar spice flavours on full and lush on the palate. Could benefit from a couple more years in cellar. Pair with a roast beast. - Community Wine Reviews
