Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

13th Street Winery's Creek Shores VQA Riesling was sourced from their estate vineyard and benefitted from a terrific vintage from beginning to end. This very small production (~200 cases) Riesling is packed full of flavour. Aromas of white peach, lemon tart, citronella, lanolin, custard, and spice stimulate the senses. Great varietal structure, the palate is crisp and lively with a slightly oily texture, showing Meyer lemon and refreshing layers of citrus making this great with rich dishes such as fish and chips, duck, or grilled chicken sandwich topped with avocado and bacon. A candidate for medium term cellaring, enjoy 2016-2022. 90+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
The 2012 vintage of Niagara's 13th Street Vineyard Riesling is created from a blend of two Riesling clones. Finishes with ripe peach notes. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
