Fragrant and fresh on the nose with white florals, honeyed stone fruit and petrol aromas. Zesty, medium-bodied and bright with lemongrass, fresh pear, ripe stone fruit, creamy red apply and flinty mineral finish on the palate. A single-vineyard Riesling produced from the Alsatian clone. Pair with smoked pork hocks and choucroute.

Riesling food pairings: smoked salmon on baguette, mild curries, seafood salad.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

13th Street Winery's June's Vineyard Riesling, made from Alsatian old Clone 49 Riesling, shows a delicate yet complex bouquet of sweet orchard fruit, floral blossom, wild flower honey, petrol, and limestone minerality. The palate is crisp and linear with a slight sweetness on the mid palate. The finish showcases the racy acidity with wildflower honey and mineral notes persisting. Very versatile, this beautiful Ontario Riesling is a fantastic choice to enjoy with spicy Asian cuisine, Bavarian sausages and sauerkraut, and creamy cheeses. Tasted January 2022. 90 points. Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A beautiful Riesling made from Alsatian clone grapes.
Heady aromas of red apple, baked pear and honey transform into a zippy lime palate and a persistent green apple finish. Mouth coating, medium+ body. Perfect paired with spicy curry dishes or a gorgonzola and pear salad.
Tasted February 2022.
From Creek Shores, Niagara Peninsula wine region, 13th Street June's Vineyard 2019 Riesling is a favourite, easy-to-love floral and honey-nosed Riesling. A consistent crowd pleaser with ripe peach, apricot, lemon pudding, petrol and flinty mineral flavours on the palate. This single-vineyard Riesling is produced from Alsatian clone 49 giving its very ripe stone fruit nose and mineral flavours. - Community Wine Reviews
