Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This pale straw coloured Chardonnay has lots of minerality and plump peach and tropical fruit aromas, mostly pineapple and ripe mango. It is slightly nutty and has hints of citrus. In terms of flavours, there is lemon and almond, as well as caramelized pineapple. It is a full bodied wine that is rich and creamy with mineral tones on the palate, as well as crisp acidity and a long finish.

Tasted November 2017
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon green colour with soft delicate yet prominent aromas of lemon butter cream, nectarine, apricot, minerals and light caramel. Tart crisp green apple and starfruit dance on the palate. A lemon starburst candy note here too with touches of chives and stony minerals. High acidity with a light body and a medium minus finish. Crisp, yet delicate with bright, buttery freshness. A fine pairing for soft shell crab and scallops.
89 points - tasted December 2017
From Creek Shores in the Niagara Peninsula wine region, 13Th Street June's Vineyard (2015) is a great value, medium-bodied and Chardonnay from grapes sourced from a single vineyard. The wine was fermented in stainless steel, underwent full malolactic conversion with six months on the lees contributing complexity and structure to the wine. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
