Reviews and Ratings

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

The wine is deep ruby with colour extraction in the tears.
On the nose, clean medium plus intensity with developing aromas of medicinal cherry, smoke, anise, cedar, and minerality. A lightly crushed violet plays in the background.
The wine is dry with medium plus acidity (late ripening Aglianico is the grape variety), medium plus tannins, high alcohol, and medium plus body.
The aromas all replay on the palate with a bright dark fruit component, mostly black berry, and stewed black cherries.
Very nice all in all, and a lovely example of this southern Italian wine region DOCG, located in Campania 90 kms east of Naples.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
