Tequi-Lime® Barbequed Ribs

This recipe was created by boutique caterer Chef Ann Kirsebom who took on the challenge of creating her globally successful line of gourmet grill sauces and marinades. Fresh ingredients and a generous shot of premium alcohol result in an appealing and appetizing product that will send your taste buds into gourmet heaven.

See below for purchase and order info for these four succulent sauces: Tequi-Lime®, O’Rumba, O’Plum Sesame, Teriyaki Sake

Serves 4 as a main entrée or 12 as an appetizer

Level of difficulty: moderate

Ingredients:
4 Slabs Baby Back Ribs, 8 ribs each
2 cups Tequi-Lime® Bbq Sauce
On the underside of the ribs is a tough white skin or membrane; using a pointed knife, loosen the membrane along the bone at one edge, then grip the membrane with a paper towel and pull away. *Never boil ribs - you loose all the flavor! Marinate the ribs in zip-lock freezer bags with 1 ½ cups of Tequi-Lime® Sauce, for up to 4 days. Discard marinade when ready to cook using remaining sauce to baste while grilling. If using a gas or indoor grill, preheat to medium (350* F).

If using charcoal, prepare a fire. When bbq's or grills are ready, brush extra Tequi-Lime® sauce on ribs, cover bbq and grill, about 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes and continuing to baste.

Bon appetit!
Chef Ann

Not just another bbq condiment, Tequi-Lime® gourmet grill sauce and marinade will deliciously dress your salads, add sizzle to your stir fry’s, marinade your pork loins and spot prawns and perfect your pizzas and pastas.
