Provolo Campotorbian Ripasso Valpolicella Superiore 2012, Veneto D.O.C., Italy: Excellent value on this loveable and easy to appreciate Italian red. Ripasso style reds are becoming increasingly popular. Lots of quality and flavour at a great price. The Ripasso method of grapes adds depth and flavour to a wine. Provolo Campotorbian 2012 is a full-bodied savoury Ripasso with dried prune and figgy flavours on the palate with a lingering dark chocolate and espresso finish. How could you not love it?
