Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Marlborough, New Zealand: Zesty and fresh with a lime-lemon lift. More citrus than grassy with some herbal underlay. Winemaker Anthony says he blend different parcels of the grapes as they do in Champagne style. Good tomato leaf and minerality on the finish. Part of Vintages Essentials. Drink: 2013-2015. 35386 13.50% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100. March 15, 2014 Splendid Salad Wine Full Review
The Grinder Pinotage 2014, Swartland W.O., South Africa: Dark roast coffee, espresso but not sweet. This full-bodied, delicious red wine is made from South Africa's signature (and quite distinctive) Pinotage grape, a cross between Cinsault and Pinot Noir. This wine is dry, but it finishes with delicious flavours of dark chocolate. Pair it with grilled meats, especially chary pork chops. Drink: 2015-2017. 572107 14% XD 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 88/100.
