Torres Viña Esmeralda 2012, Catalunya, Spain: Simply divine even at triple the price it is. Stunningly lovely white floral notes along with some lychee and white melon. So, so pretty as an aperitif or with fresh seafood. Highly recommended. There’s no oak on this aromatic blend of mostly muscat grapes with some gewürztraminer grapes, that grow in the mountains of north-east Spain. A lovely honeysuckle finish.
