Zolo Fincas Patagonicas Torrontés 2013, Mendoza, Argentina: Trust me, you haven’t lived until you’ve tried Torrontes, the grape name of the aromatic white wine. This is a wonderful interpretation of peachy-floral splendor. Ignore the price as it’ll bias you because it’s so low.  Torrontés is truly Argentina’s benchmark white wine: such a unique signature. Finishes with peach blossom and sunshine. Try it with mild curries or fresh seafood. Drink: 2014-2017. 183913 13.80% D 750 mL  $13.95 Score: 90/100. August 2, 2014 Best Value White Wine. Sensational Shellfish Wine Full Review
Yalumba Organic Viognier 2012, South Australia, Australia: An invitation of apricot and peach blossom on the nose. This organic wine follows through on that promise with fragrant lime blossom and baking spices on the palate. Full-bodied yet not heavy. A long, lingering finish. Drink: 2013-2016. 288217 14.50% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 89/100. June 21, 2014 Best Value White Wine. Outstanding Organic Wine Full Review
Di Giovanna Grillo 2013, Terre Siciliane, Sicily I.G.P., Italy: Lightly floral and very pretty, like Torrontes but not as floral. Good acidity, very nice. Worth trying. Medium-bodied white wine. Spinyback Waimea Estates Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Nelson, South Island, New Zealand: Herbal and grassy with big mouth-watering acidity for a variety of dishes. Medium-bodied and food-friendly. Lime zested on crushed stones on the finish. Yum! Try it with vegetarian pizza. Drink: 2013-2015. 694737 12.50% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 91/100. August 2, 2014 Best Value White Wine. Bird Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Terrific lime-zestiness in this citrus-herbal inflected Sauvignon Blanc. Refreshing and zippy: classic New Zealand style. I'm so delighted that this wine is back on the shelves again as it's a benchmark for the Marlborough region. Top me up! Finishes with gooseberry and passionfruit. Liquid lovely. Drink: 2014-2016. 178319 13.50% D 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 93/100. July 19, 2014 Best Value White Wine. Great Goat Cheese Wine Full Review
Lawson's Dry Hills Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: A lovely, expressive Sauvignon Blanc that is more citrus-melon than grassy-herbal. Mouth-watering and juicy with a medium weight. Highly recommended. There's more texture and richness here by some very deft oak treatment. Lovely stuff. Drink: 2013-2016. 214460 13% XD 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 91/100. February 15, 2014 Best Value White Wine. Best Beef Wine Full Review
Wingspan Sauvignon Blanc 2012, New Zealand, New Zealand: Lovely, refreshing Sauvignon Blanc with lime, grass, chives and lemon zest. Not aggressively grassy or herbal, though the signature is there in green vibrancy for vegetarian dishes, seafood and field greens. Great price.
