Valpantena Torre del Falasco Valpolicella Ripasso 2019, Veneto D.O.C., Italy: Torre Del Falasco 2019 Valpolicella Ripasso is a vibrant, full-bodied Amarone from Valpantena produced from mostly Corvina Veronese with some Rondinella and Corvinone wine grapes. Ripasso is a winemaking technique that takes Valpolicella (from the Veneto region) and then introduces the lees of Amarone into the wine. There is enough residual sugar in those lees to allow a second fermentation that produces a bigger, richer wine.
