Alpha Estate Red 2008, Florina P.G.I., Greece: This big-bones Greek red wine offers plenty of drinking pleasure. The Alphas Estate is the winery's flagship wine and the blend of red grapes comes from the estate's best vineyards that are mostly alluvium, sandy, clay soils with excellent drainage and a semi-continental climate which results in deep concentration and depth in the wine.
