Chakana Estate Malbec 2016, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina: A full-bodied blend of Malbec wine grapes from Altamira and Gualtallary that is brought up in 60% concrete tank with the balance in neutral oak. Fresh and fruit with great acidity for food -- a mouthful of fresh liquid cherries, fresh herbs and savoury spice. Tannins are grippy. Pair with an Argentinean Asado.
