Latium Morini Campo Leòn Amarone Della Valpolicella 2011, Veneto D.O.C., Italy: Holy smokes! I can smell the alcohol on this wine -- at 16.5% that's no surprise. Port, the fortified wine, clocks in at 19%. Nevertheless this is delicious with sweet black cherry flavours and a smooth texture. Perfect for roast beef.
