Opens with a complex nose of wet stone, wild raspberry, sour cherry, earth, woodsmoke and a hint of new leather. Dry, with a savoury fruit core, vibrant acidity, and a backing of nicely structured tannins. Long, layered finish. This will evolve in fine form over 3-5 years, or enjoy it tonight.
