La Cadierenne Grande Tradition Bandol Rosé 2015, Provence A.C., France: So pretty and refreshing yet this southern French rose packs a (flavour) punch). Medium to almost full-bodied for rosé. Lovely flavours of summer strawberries and raspberries on the nose of this French rosé. Dry and refreshing. Works as an aperitif or companion to seafood. The Ned Marisco Vineyards Ltd. Pinot Gris 2011, Waihopal River, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Love it! I find many pinot gris boring, but this is spectacularly interesting. Glorious notes of white peach and Asian pear, with a lovely salmon hue. Perfect aperitif or companion to seafood, salads and roast chicken.
