This blockbuster is in serious need of cellar time. This full-bodied red wine features aromas of blackberry, black plums, smoky oak and tar. It's fairly smooth, though this will improve with aging. Decant for 1-2 hours when you open it. A powerful and classic Italian red wine. Pair with prime rib. Brunello Di Montalcino food pairings: pasta in meat sauce, spicy sausages, grilled meats, game.
