Quinta Do Roncão Reserva 2012, Douro D.O.C., Portugal: An opulent, robust red wine brought to us by Maria Manuela, with dollops of fleshy dark cherries, raisins and hickory smoke. Some dark spices on the finish. Terrific! This is a Portuguese red wine blend of 50% Touriga Franca, 30% Tinta Roriz, and 20% Touriga Nacional grapes. Finishes with dark spices.
