Zuccardi Concreto Malbec 2021, Paraje Altamira, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina: From the Paraje Altamira, Uco Valley wine region, Zuccardi Concreto 2021 Malbec is dry, medium-bodied, elegant and fragrant with pink and blue florals, ripe red berry fruit, blueberry, mulberry, wild herbs and flavours concentrated on the palate. So pretty and possibly one of the finest vintages to date. Very approachable now but can easily age to the end of the decade. Malbec food pairings: asado, sausage casserole, roasted root vegetables. Rocca di Castagnoli Vin Santo Del Chianti Classico 2014, Tuscany D.O.C., Italy: Rocca di Castagnoli 2014 Vin Santo Del Chianti Classico (375 ml) is a medium-bodied sweet dessert wine, fresh and tasty with honeysuckle, tropical fruit, caramel and five spice flavours mouth filling on the palate. Lovely, chilled on its own or pair it with mature cheeses. Produced from mostly Malvasia Lunga del Chianti and Trebbiano (90%/10%). Vin Santo Del Chianti Classico food pairings: blue-veined creamy cheeses, mature cheeses, fruit and custard desserts.
