Produced from 100% Viognier sourced from vines that are up to 25 years of age planted on a hillside with chalky-clay and fossilized soils. A portion of the wine (20%) underwent malolactic fermentation with a portion (15%) fermented in new French oak barrels prior to the blended wine being aged in oak for several months. Floral and fresh with ripe stone fruit, Meyer lemon, fine herbs, ginger spice and minerally flavours beautifully balanced and crafted by an iconic producer who maintains his promise of quality wines at a reasonable price.
