Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Love the mouth feel on this fragrant single-estate 2018 River Stone Estate Winery Pinot Gris with fresh, ripe peach and Canary melon aromas. Off-dry (8.0 g/l residual sugar), fresh on the palate with medium-plus weight, ripe and lush peach, pear and melon flavours rich and generous on the palate. Good acidity for food. Pair with roast chicken, cold turkey sandwiches or chill and enjoy on its own.

The Pinot Gris grapes for this vintage were sourced from River Rock Estate Vineyards, The vineyard is south-facing ang grapes were harvested when the vines were in their 15th leaf (balanced pruning to photosynthetic capability of leaves) from this South Okanagan vineyard with rocky sand, and gravelly soils from the last glacial recession.

A short period of contact with the skins gives this pretty PG and old-pink-gold hue. Fermentation was in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tank, as well as spending several months on fine lees prior to filtering and bottling giving the finished wine a fine elegance, structure and luxurious mouth feel.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
