Trevor Sabourin rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A big, plush, smoky blend of Garnacha Tintorera and Monastrell (Mourvedre) from the lesser known Spanish region of Almansa. The nose is dominated by smoke, cocoa, incense, and exotic cardamom and clove, but there is a good deal of ripe plum, blueberry and blackberry fruit too, along with touches of cedar, vanilla, tobacco, and black earth. The palate is a pleasingly balanced mix of juicy plum and blackberry, cocoa, tobacco, some gamey/leather notes and more cardamom and clove. The wine is full-bodied, round and mouthfilling, and has medium acidity and tannins to keep things balanced. The finish of black fruit, cocoa, and exotic spice is fairly long. Would pair quite nicely with steak or any smokey/gamey meats. A very good value. Tasted July 2016. Note: Garnacha Tintorera is actually the Spanish name for Alicante Bouschet, a red-fleshed grape, and is NOT the same as Grenache, though Grenache is one of its parent grapes.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
