Alex & Priya rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Priya: 85% Carignano, 15% Syrah.
Super-rich, almost purple black in hue. Tastes like a port without the sweetness. It has a depth to it that reminds me of port ( and an aftereffect). Maybe it also reminds me of Amarone - that full-bodied fruitfulness, again without being too fruity. Interesting wine, interesting enough for me to say I'd like to try it again. 87 pts

Alex: Amarone, Port, both good analogies Priya. The point is, this is a very rich wine, and the fruit is heavily roasted in flavor - indicative of the intensely sunny year they must of had in Sardinia. There's a lot of oak as well, adding chocolate, bbq sauce and hung meat notes. There's iron, iodine, new leather and briny nuances as well, a complex drop for sure. Unctuous and velvety on the palate, with supple tannins, enough acidity, and plenty of scorched blueberry, cherry and plum. Heat detracts only slightly from a meaty, spicy finish. This would be excellent with barbeque, particularly ribs. Solid value. 90 pts

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
