Mymi Thesingingsommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Tahbilk is owned by the Purbrick family and has a very colorful history that started in 1925 when savvy business man Reginald bought the property sight unseen planning to uproot the vines and sub-divide into dairy farms. His plans changed when he was convinced by his son in rehabilitating the winery instead. And as they say, the rest is history!
The winery is located in the Nagambie Lakes region of Central Victoria.
The Purbrick’s have five generations of family ownership and are the oldest family owned winery in the State of Victoria.
Marsanne is one of the world's rarest grape varieties originating in the Northern Rhone & Hermitage regions of France and it is grown in only 3 other countries, Australia, America & Switzerland. Tahbilk holds the largest and oldest single holding of the variety in the world. The Estate still produces Marsanne from plantings dating back to 1927.
In the glass, it is a golden yellow color.
The nose is intense with aromas of apricots, ripe pineapple, honey, lime zest and a little marshmallows.
The palate is rich and sumptuous. It is dry with loads of exotic fruit marmalade and a little almond paste. Soft acidity which gives it a high “guzzle” factor!
Absolutely delicious!
To have on its own or with salty parmesan crostini or with a spicy vegetarian chow-mein!

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
