Alana L rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Full disclosure here, I’m not a big fan of Rosé.. even in the midst of summer. So when drawn to a rosé in winter on a lunch break whilst Christmas shopping... I heed the call (at the risk of having to endure the incredulous look of our lunch partner who never sees us order rosé. EVER.). Mid range between light to medium-bodied and extra dry (hence the fact that we liked this one most probably), Caves d'Esclans Whispering Angel Rosé 2018 from Côtes de Provence is an assemblage of 80% Grenache, 10% Cinsault and 10% Syrah. Light rose petal in colour, it has flowers, fruit and a very light touch of spice on the nose and mostly fruit to the taste that is balanced by the dryness and crisp acidity.

Hard to argue the quality of this wine when James Suckling rates it 92 and calls it ‘Always delicious’ and it garners the following reviews ‘Chewy and mouthwatering’ (Decanter Magazine), ‘The Cool thing you have to drink … also impressively good’ (Ray Isle in Food & Wine), ‘More palate grabbing by far from the Provencal Pink norm’ (Jancis Robinson) and ‘It’s hard to find fault with this sensational rosé’ (The Times). It’s also available at the SAQ for $26.20 and at the LCBO for $28.95 (we love how the LCBO describes this wine in their notes: ‘Sssh, listen. Do you hear that? It's the sound of benchmark quality. Château d'Esclans is a rosé specialist, and the refined, perfectly tuned grapefruit, peach and mineral tones in this tangy wine don't need to shout to get your attention.’). This one is making it onto our Christmas dinner wine list for our favourite rosé lovers! And just might see me drinking a little bit more rosé! Cheers friends!
