Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

Medium red color. Distinctively red fruited, bursting with sweet cherry and delicate plum. Followed by black pepper, then clove and fruitcake spice. With hints of anise, strawberry, and some citrus blossoms (tangerine zest??) lingering in the background. This Pinot is medium-bodied, smooth and easy-drinking with excellent structure and terrific acidity. Flavors of sweet cherry, blackberry and possibly strawberry. Notes of white & black pepper, nutmeg with a host of other spicy characteristics. While flavors of sour or black cherry and mineral notes such as flint and graphite join to create a delicate, yet noticeably, lengthy finish. Most cellaring websites indicated “Drink now through 2013” – which would likely mean drink now ;-) Although, with this wines expansive tannins and lively acidity, you could probably let it sit for another couple of years. This wine is smooth and easy-drinking -- well suited for drinking on its own but will also pairs well with an assortment of dishes. The couple we shared this lovely bottle of wine with served these delish pesto pinwheels.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
