Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied fragrant Sonoma County, California Cab Sauv with ripe raspberries, cassis and vanilla aromas, followed by a palate with ripe red berries, mint and mocha. Smooth and well-structured with a long ripe berry finish. A gift wine for your favourite scientist!
Tasted November 2015

Archimedes' principle, a law of physics, indicates that the upward buoyant force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid is equal to the weight of the fluid that the body displaces.
The 2012 vintage of the Cabernet Sauvignon Archimedes needs cellar time. The wine is named after the Greek mathematician Archimedes who nearly 2,000 years ago established the laws of physics still used today. The grapes are grown in Sonoma County. The wine was aged 24 months in French oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
