I was thrilled to be part of the 2023 Toronto International Festival of Authors that included authors such as Margaret Atwood, Vincent Lam, Emma Donoghue, Sarah Polley, Alissa York, Charlotte Gray and others.
Sommelier and writer Rebecca Meir interviewed me about the book. Rebecca has spent more than a decade as a sommelier in some of Canada’s top restaurants – Canoe, Luma, BLU, and Maple Leafs Sport & Entertainment. She’s frequently invited to wine regions around the world, to explore, taste and judge wines. Along with her partner, Chef Eyal Liebman, Rebecca is co-owner of Chef & Somm, Toronto’s in-home, art-focused, private dining and sommelier service. I’ve personally known Rebecca for more than ten years now and admire not only her wine and hospitality knowledge, but also her grace and enthusiasm in sharing it with others.
