Much as I try, I can’t get stuffy about wine. Anyone can match an expensive Bordeaux with filet mignon, but which wine do you drink when you’ve been on hold with customer service for an hour? There’s the rub.
Here are my top wine picks for the most commonly terrible customer service experiences from my column in More Magazine. Got one to suggest?
D’arenberg The Dead Arm Shiraz 2007
Mclaren Vale, South Australia
Big black bruiser with dark fruit, savoury bacon, dark spices and mint. Full-bodied and smooth. Big “bang” for your buck. 981183 $49.95 Score: 91/100.
Rosehall Run Defiant Pinot Noir 2011
VQA, Prince Edward County, Ontario
Terrific vibrancy in this mouth-watering pinot! Aromas and flavour of tart cherry and cranberry. Medium-bodied, smooth and food-friendly. Drink: 2012-2015. 307769 $18.95 Score: 88/100.
7 Deadly Zins Old Vine Zinfandel 2009
Lodi, California
Dark chocolate nose followed by satin plush black plums and a strong coffee finish. Full-bodied and supple and absolutely yummy. Pair with: hamburgers, meat-lovers pizza. Drink: 2012-2015. 59311 $24.95 Score: 90/100.

Brilliantly funny! I bet we can all relate!
Cleverly done…but Vodka is probably more to the point!
Dead Arm is one of my favourites. Couldn’t help suggesting the Fat Bastard under your category :-)
