Feedspot, which replaced Google’s RSS live feed for blog updates last year, has just published a new report on the Top 100 Wine Blogs.
A friend nudged me about it on Twitter, as it’s not something you can enter.
According to the editors of Feedspot:
In the world of wine, these are the best of the best wine blogs who run their craft and work hardest to improve the entire wine industry.
They are the most influential to both the trade and consumers.
Their voices influence thousands of other wine personalities and tens of thousands of wine professionals.
These wine blogs are ranked based on following criteria:
- Google reputation and Google search ranking.
- Influence and popularity on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites.
- Quality and consistency of posts.
The U.S. site, Wine Folly, which produces amazingly great infographics that have been compiled into a New York Times bestseller was deservedly #1.
The much-respected Wine Spectator ranked #3. There were also several well-known sites from the U.K. and Europe in the top ten.
Our team is thrilled to rank #7!
We’ll drink to that … but then again, we’ll drink to anything ;)
