Gilles Louvet O Pinot Noir 2010, Languedoc, France
An incredible pinot noir for this price point, and its organic to boot. Tart cherries and fresh earth give this medium-bodied, silky, mouth-watering wine lots of character and versatility for food. Food matches: pot roast with mushrooms, quail, planked salmon. Drink: 2012 – 2015 292995 13.5% D 750 ml $13.95 Score: 88/100
This recipe also pairs well with Gilles Louvet O Chardonnay, which will be coming soon to the LCBO.

The recipe looks very yummy, may be it will be my tonight’s dinner. It’s also a terrific price for Organic Pinot Noir from France, dear Natalie, if you recommend it, I will go for it because my wallet already suffered from Christmas shopping))
