The Art of Eating: A Tribute to MFK Fisher will be held May 14 2-5:30p.m. at Bouverie Preserve of Audubon Canyon Ranch in Glen Ellen, California. Sponsored by the San Francisco Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, Julie Atwood Events, Nancy & Tony Lilly & Bank of Marin this food and wine benefit for Audubon Canyon Ranch will be hosted by author and journalist Georgeanne Brennan and Chef John Ash. Bay Area chefs include Sondra Bernstein of the girl and the fig, Kary Vega of Hopmonk Tavern in Sebastopol and Sonoma, Sheana Davis of The Epicurean Connection, Belon, Sonoma-Artisan Foie Gras, Pizzaiolo, Pam Ferrari of Pam Ferrari Catering & Jimtown Store. Wineries will include Preston Winery, Michel-Schlumberger, Charles Creek Vineyard, David Noyes Wines, Clarbec Wines & Hamel Family Wines. Admission is $125. Proceeds go to Audubon Canyon Ranch (ACR) provides over 6,000 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students the opportunity to experience nature first-hand, at no cost to the schools. ACR is the only organization in the area that still offers hands-on science education field trips free of charge.
