Santa Margherita Chianti Classico 2007, D.O.C.G., Tuscany, Italy
Terrific richness and mouth-watering juiciness! Fleshy, plush plums roll across your senses followed by a tumble of ripe dark field berries wrapped in a hint of mocha. RavensWood Vintner’s Blend Zinfandel 2008, California
Bright notes of brambleberry, blueberry and raspberry with lovely liveliness and layers of textured flavor. Smooth with polished tannins and a warm finish. Perfect for pizza and movie night. Tommasi Classico Superiore Valpolicella Ripasso 2010, D.O.C., Veneto, Italy
Tasty and full-bodied with lovely black fruit aromas, dark spices and some smoke. I love a half bottle, which is perfect for a very fun night on your own or when you just want a glass and an half each for a certain course, like a meat dish or sausages. Elegant with a dry finish. Wasn’t this video just posted? I just checked the LCBO for the Urban Reisling and it’s discontinued. Only one bottle left at all stores. The Open Rosé is seasonal and also only has a few bottles left… Any other suggestions?
