Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

See Ya Later Ranch gets its name from the 'dear John' letter left behind by the wife of the original owner, Hugh Fraser, once she saw her new home. The Ranch is perched atop the isolated Hawthorne mountain - the highest exploited viticultural area in Canada.
This wine was aged nine months in barrels and manages to show off some subtle smokey goodness on the nose. Lots of skin contact means there are some lovely orange rind and hot house flower to the aromas.
There's plenty of crunchy orchard fruit on the palate. Great mouthfeel and slightly elevated alcohol.
If you were curious about the logo, the vineyards are planted alongside a pet cemetery. I'm unsure whether that contributes any terroir, but it might be value-added for any Stephen King fans you know.
In the early 1900s, Major Fraser was first to plant wine grapes in the Okanagan Valley near the Okanagan Falls on Hawthorne Vineyards where the grapes for this wine are now grown. The vines for See Ya Later Ranch are rooted on the Okanagan Valley's highest elevation. - Community Wine Reviews
