Reviews and Ratings

Mymi Thesingingsommelier - Sommelier, FWS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

If you are looking for true Austrian quality and authenticity, look no further!
Now in the 5th generation, Georg and Silvia Prieler’s mission is to make memorable and unique wines with great depth as well as ageing potential. Faithfully committed to the terroir of the Leithaberg region, their wines are sustainably crafted from vineyard to bottle!
As the name says, it is a true “Klassik” and a great introduction to Blaufrankisch.
Shiny ruby red in the glass. Perfumey on the nose with ripe red cherries, roasted beets, dried mint and a hint of masala spices.
Very easy drinking, luscious almost “Merlot-esque”. Again, lovely ripe cherries and dried mint in every sip. Earthy with great tannin/acid structure. A must try!

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
