Reviews and Ratings

Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Dark ruby in colour with aromas of black cherry, black pepper and strawberries. The aromas follow through on the plate with the black pepper and fruit leading in to a nice lingering finish. It is full bodied with low tannins and a nice crisp acidity. This will pair well with chicken, salmon and beef. (Tasted on March 26, 2017)
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful, supple and deeply concentrated for a Napa Valley Pinot Noir. Tart dark cherry, bitter chocolate and pomegranate on a long finish. Medium bodied, rich with a supple mouthfeel. Great acidity and integrated alcohol declared at a soaring 14.2%. Gotta love Napa. Tasted March 2017. 91 points. BespokeTastings.ca
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

If you like full bodied Pinot this would be one to try. Aromas of dark ripe cherry and plenty of oak. (100% French Oak barrels for 9 months). Soft mouthfeel with integrated tannins and acidity. Long fruit finish. Tasted March 26, 2017.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Red and black cherry with a slight gaminess to them, a touch of smoke and some baking spice. There's a very slight sherry-like oxidative aroma to the cherry as well. Full in the mouth, with a very rounded feel, well rounded tannins, and a dark cherry and raspberry flavour. Great acidity and a medium cherry finish.
