A robust, richly-layered Argentine red wine made from the country's classic Malbec grape. Smoky with lots of toasty oak on the nose and palate. Aromas of dark berries and plums. The grapes are grown in the Finca La Linda and Vistalba vineyards in Mendoza. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Pair with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Black plums leap from the glass along with a touch of leather on the nose. Beautiful velvety textures. Nice weight - not overdone. Ample oak for a steak pairing, yet not so much a roasted meat would be overwhelmed. One of the best years for this wine.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Shows positive hallmarks from 12 months aging in French oak casks, this approachable Malbec delivers black cherry, raspberry, spice and cedar. Good value.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of blueberry, plum, and a bit of spice. Full bodied with some soft tannins, lots of ripe berries, and a smooth clean finish. with a hint of spice. Enjoy with a prime rib.
