From the Columbia Valley wine region, Drumheller 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is great value at $20. A full-bodied Cab with vibrant acidity food, ripe dark currant, raspberry, mocha, fine herbs, smoky and spicy on the finish. Enjoy with grilled meats. Grapes for this vintage were sourced from the Wahluke Slopes where grapes enjoy warm sunny days and cool nights giving vibrancy and concentration of flavours in this wine. Pour with a beef brisket.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: roast chicken, roast veal, mild goat curry.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely. Aromas of currant and plums, with a touch of brighter raspberry, along with hints of mocha and spice. Full bodied, with soft tannins, bright acidity, and robust, ripe berry notes, with a finish of vanilla, spice, and smoke. Enjoy with marinated flank steak on the grill.
