Reviews and Ratings

Nicole Lougheed rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a smooth operator with very well integrated oak - delicious mocha, vanilla playing nicely with the ripe red fruit flavours. Mild tannins make this a great match with spicy food (we paired it with Jambalaya). Great weight and a long finish had me toying with bumping up to a 93/94. This is a re-buy for me.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with lots of colour extraction.

Aromas of read & black currant jam, blackberry, plum, cedar, toast, eucalyptus.

On the palate high alcohol and full-bodies, with medium+ tannins and acid. Pronounced intensity of flavours including stewed black fruits, black currant, plum, clove, allspice, prune and savoury notes.

Finish is long and a touch hot.

Would rate a little higher perhaps if not for the price point - tad out of balance for a $60 wine.

Tasted November 2016.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
