Caymus-Suisun The Walking Fool 2020 is a deep and dark, medium-bodied red wine blend of Zinfandel and Petit Sirah fragrant with blackberry, cedar brush and some piney notes. Fresh on the palate with red berry, blackberry, spicy and flinty mineral flavours with a lingering smoky vanilla finish. Tannins are velvety.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep and robust. This is a blend of Zinfandel and Petit Sirah, with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, cedar, and a hint of cigar box. Medium + bodied, with moderate acidity, smooth tannins, and rich, rounded berry notes, slightly jammy but brightened with that hint of acidity. Smoke and mineral hints on a lengthy finish. Enjoy with grilled pork tenderloin or gourmet burgers.
